I got my hands on a bunch of RF circulators! I decided to take one of them apart…
With the cover off you can see one of the magnets.

This is not going back together! I was hoping the case would be useable for something else, but alas, the outside “box” was a rather thin U shaped piece of metal that was half held on by glue and half by the magnets inside.
Completely apart. The non-SMA “connector” is a 50 ohm termination. These circulators are used as isolators.
There are some good explanations of how circulators work online, but I didn’t see too many pictures.
